They don’t really keep my girl from making a mess. She can carry it around with her, so she leaves a trail of crackers behind. She can’t really get her hand around the snacks in the right way, so she just pulls out a handful and inevitably some fall out…

I just paid the same price at our local baby store for ONE solid cover for the Snack Trap. I didn’t get an extra snack trap lid or a “sippy cup” lid to go with it. Doh! I do love the Snack Traps – we own 4 of this brand and 1 munchkin. We prefer these ones which are smaller and easier for our little one to grip. With both she’s figured out how to dump everything out of them pretty good, but c’est la vie.

I made the mistake of thinking that this product included the snack trap based on the pictures and the reviews. Don’t make the same assumption as me! I just ordered the actual snack trap. I only gave this two stars because I can’t try out the product just yet!

Our twin daughters started using their snack traps around their first birthday (almost 2 years ago), it makes for a much more civil dining out experience, keeps the car a lot cleaner, and buys Mom 10-15 minutes of freedom while they’re occupied with snacking. Before I found these lids, I used to keep each snack trap in an airtight plastic bag, this is much more eco-friendly. We don’t use the sippy top accessory but the extra standard trap lid came in handy when the dog ate the one we had originally.

We are really happy with these. I think they’re about as good as snack holders could be and their a reasonable price. The girls like the animals and I think they look nice, too. We got a three pack and shared one with a friend.
